Vehicle Detail
This Vehicle was completely restored in the early 1980's. It has only been driven 1500 miles since the restoration was complete. The engine is an over bored 454, cut to 512cc. The studded block with Canfield Heads produces 750 horse power. The fully roller motor is gasketed and modified to run nitrous. The builder equiped the engine with Keith Black Pistons and Eagle Crank and Cam Shafts to insure strength as the engine is put through its paces. The engine is supported by an eight quart oil pan, nascar designed 3 core radiator, electric cooling fans, MSD high output ignition system, and a 373 positrac rear end. The exhaust is an over piped flow master 50 series dual exhaust providing the breathing the engine needs. The transmission is a 700r4 with less then 100 miles on the transmission. All suspension bushings are eurothane and the rear suspension is the nascar box design. There is no filler on the car. When it was restored all damaged sheet metal was replaced with GM metal parts. To protect the engine an transmission the car is equiped with a 2500rpm stall converter. The car was painted in 1988 with three coats of Cadilac Red and seven coats of clear. The car hass been garage kept since painting. The car has a sound system that has to be heard to appriciate. The car will run low 10's with no nitrus. The only issues with the car are minor rust on the bottom of each door and a crack in the paint on the tailgate.
