BMW 319 Custom Roadster.Frame and Body/Wheels. I bought this from a Local Guy,who thought he had a BMW 328.We ran the serial number,and this is a 319. The Car Had a Karosserie Tag inside that reads"Anton Finster,Vormals Kruck Works, Wiessbaden, Karosseriebau" It May have been on the car,or not,as we got alot of 327 Parts with it. It only Has the left door,but it makes a great pattern for the rt! I will assist in shipping,but obviously it has no engine,or any way to steer it,although the steering wheel and column is in the car.The Differential and Brakes[Mechanical] are still on the car. This Is A Project Car. New 319/1 Bodies are available in Germany,but Pricey.Its Hard to find old BMW Cars! This Car Has No Title,Sold on a Bill Of Sale Only! Seller reserves the right to end this auction early,as we have a buyer interested but not committed,and it's available locally.On Aug-19-10 at 15:08:34 PDT, seller added the following information: This Car,I am Told,Is a 315/2 Built for the German Military.It would likely have had a command car body.It would not be a 319,as the front brakes are single leading shoe type.On Aug-20-10 at 18:02:52 PDT, seller added the following information: We Are Able to Assist / Help Get the car to Baltimore for shipment Abroad. To reiterate, This body was added after intial production.This Car Is A 315/2. NOT a 319.On Aug-20-10 at 19:24:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I found Some Pictures Of the Original 315/2,as well As The 303 with Coachwork by Fenster. No wonder this Little Guy Was Rebodied!On Aug-21-10 at 06:36:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Red Car is a 303 sport roadster,Used "Fenster" in discription.Interesting.
