1969 Mercury Cougar Convertible XR7, 351W 4V, FMX transmission. Mileage is shown as unknown on the title and the odometer shows 44645. I have owned the car since 1987. The colors are red exterior, black interior and a white top. The interior is original except for the carpet, radio and door speaker grills (radio was missing, the one installed is an AM/FM COUGAR that is not hooked up). The seats are leather and have cracks on both front seats. The speedometer stopped working and the brake light in the dash came on last week when I took the car out for a drive. The car is drivable and has current tags and insurance. This car came with factory air but is not connected and needs the parts on the front of the car. The door and quarter windows will roll up and down but the door glass has pulled out of the track on both doors. The center rocker switches do not function and the clock does not run. The convertible top works well and functions with no problem. The rim blow horn, hide away headlights and rear sequential turn signals work. The gas tank was replaced and trunk floor is solid. The motor and transmission were rebuilt in 2003 and have less than 1000 miles. Many new parts under the hood and on the underside (see pictures). Full rear quarter panels were installed in 1998. Owners manual and receipts will be included. The door tag data is as follows: 76B T 6A 30J 17 6 X and I do have the ID tag. Take a look at the pictures and ask any questions.
