Up for bid is a Very clean and straight 1973 Westfalia.It is 99% rust free.There was some minor suface rust on the front floor,but was ground out and removed.No new metal was needed.The bus was originally white,and was stripped and repainted Sage green,inside and out.All the original seats,cushions,and cabinets were removed,and then reinstalled.They are in outstanding condition for their age.From the carpet to the headliner,all components are great.Even inside the ice box looks like it was never used.The sink ,faucet,cabinet and fresh water tank works perfect.The engine is an upgrade from the original 1600cc,to a 2.0 litre with dual carbs.This van moves down the road.It will definately climbs hills better than it did when it was new.The motor and clutch have 9000 miles on them since their rebuild.The tires are at 80%,and the brakes are at about 70%.The canvas top iis in like new condition,it was installed 2 years ago,and is the German top,not the cheaper style.It comes with the cot up top,and the baby cot that goes across the front seats.The rear folds down into a bed as well.This van is turn key,and ready to go anywhere.Please only bid to win,and winning bid is a contract to buy.Thank you and good luck.
