Vehicle Detail
1962 Impala SS Convertible ***NO RESERVE*** I have come to the decision to scale back on my hobby of cars. thanks to a recent back injury, I think my days of restoring cars, is sadly coming to an end. So I am pulling my projects out of the barns and warehouse and listing them all on ebay. Please check out my other listings on ebay, I have several Impala's and unique parts being listed over the next few days. What we have here is one highly optioned and complete 1962 Impala SS convertible. This came from an estate sale and was not sitting in a junk yard or body shop being picked apart. This is the most complete project car I have seen in years. This car has a 327 engine, with a automatic powerglide transmission. It has the following options and accesories: power steering, power brakes, power windows (super rare), optional grille guard, tissue dispenser, and the always missing SSgrab bar is still there! This is an unmolested car! Since I bought it, it has been sitting in my warehouse. I never attempted to start it. Judging by how intact everything is (it is like a time capule) I would imagine with a little effort o'l girl would crank right up! I did not check to see if this was a POSI-traction car, but it would not surprise me. This car is rusty and has all the typical trouble spots, but it will be a high dollar car when completed. When I buy cars on ebay, I always feel better when there are a ton of pictures. The more pictures, the better I feel about bidding. I took as many as I could, given the tight space. Please look carefully at the pictures. All the goodies are there. You will not have to chase down parts for this car. The buck seats are sweet, the rear seat (rare and expensive to replace) is still there. The pans will need some attention as will the qtrs, and misc spots, but all in all a really nice complete car. The value of these convertibles just keep climbing. After this car is restored you will have a solid investment that will be worth some serious money. I do have lots of extra parts for sale seperately so when you pick up the car, ask and I will show you around my parts shop. This car is sold as is, no title, just bill of sale. No buy it now. Some lucky guy is going to get an awesome project. Now for the legal stuff....ONLY SERIOUS bidders. If you have bad feedback, don't bid, I will cancel your bid. An immediate non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due at action close, NO EXCEPTION. The balance due within 3 days, NO EXCEPTION. Those who do not comply will be reported to ebay. This is not a game. Now, I am willing to store the car for up to a two weeks, then a $2.00 a day storage fee applies. I am nice guy with PERFECT FEEDBACK, and I like dealing with responsible ebayers! :) Good Luck and happy bidding!!
