I am selling my 1971 Travelette. It is a California truck. It was in storage for 12 years before I got it. It does NOT have a motor or trans. It did not have them when I got it. I bought it as a project. But a lack of work has caused me to sell this and other projects. I do have a line set ticket. I did not get a title with this so one will have to be applied for. I have not tried. The truck is in pretty good shape. It sat is a barn before I got it. The bad news is that the roof leaked on top of the truck. There is rust thru in the box. I have shown this in a pic. The passenger side is worse. The cab and drip rails show surface rust and a little rust thru. I sanded, cleaned and primed alot of the surface rust to slow it down. that is what you see in the pics. I do have the rear inner door panels. One is good. The other is rusted on the bottom. I have repaired rust around the front window. Most Binders rust there. This truck is very straight, not chopped up at all. The sheetmetal is actually in good shape. The interior is pretty nice. The back seat is very good. The headliner is mint. The dash and wiring are very good. The front seat is worn. Good floor and mats. It's a shame that it sat so long. The drivers front brake drum is froze up. We had to cut the drum to get it to roll. It currently sits on 16 inch tires. The tail gate is very good. It did not have bumpers when I got it. The grill is very good. I have the plastic grill in the house as it is nice. The truck is a late 71. It looks to have been sent out as inventory with 72 being a styling change. All glass is good. It has a radio delete and manual brakes. It comes as shown and will be sold As Is How Is. It can stay here for as long as needed but must be paid for within 7 days. I will not take payments. I can deliver within 3 hours of my home in Ashton Il. 61006 for gas money. Please look at all the pics and ask questions.
