I had the head rebuilt with new hardened valves, guides, and gasket, for un-leaded fuel, 225.00. Installed new gas tank and sender, 250.00. Replaced rear wheel cyls., lining, and cable ends, 80.00. Installed new front pads, rotors, bearings, seals and hoses, 150.00. Replaced engine exhaust manifold and gasket100.00. New front and intermediate exhaust pipes 90.00. Removed the interior and welded the floor pans on both sides. Sandblasted wheels and repainted. New tires and new beauty rings 275.00. Installed new dash cover, 50.00. Installed new roll bar 250.00. Replaced radiator with 1976' - 80' for extra cooling, thermostat housing, and expansion tank, 235.00. I have a new battery (Jan. 09) only been used to start and test run on the road, 65.00. Replaced slave cyl and hose, 70.00. Steering rack boots and tie rod ends, 50.00. There more to do, but the dirty stuff is done. Body is in nice shape with some minor surface rust,... just one small hole as seen in picture, drivers side, in front of door. Hood as a ding in the nose. These are easy repairs prior to paint. The interior pannels will need replaced along with carpet and it will need seat belts. One wiper arm missing. There are some dash wiring issues that I didn't get to yet. To my knowledge this description and pictures tell the story. It's a solid car, that's why I spent 1,865.00 in parts, not to count parts shipping. The labor I'll throw in free.
