I took this car in as a trade for my earth moving work. I have its clear title in hand. All original V12, TH-400 3 Speed Auto Transmission with shift kit, Independent rear end. This unique and exotic race / touring car has been in storage for many years just hibernating. Just two things: the intake was removed and sold off; I was planning on converting it over to a set of Weber carbs to boost the engine performance but never got around to it. It just needs a Hilborne injection system ideally or a set of Webers, readily available off eBay or at your local swap meet or check Hemming's Motor News; there you will see a car like this sell for example:1978 XJS GT Coupe 2+2, $6,225.00 For the last time, I will list it here on eBay then I will move it over to Hemmings Motor News or just keep it and drive it. The interior and rear seat cushions are in very good condition, I removed cushions to detail them on my bench. The interior of this car is in very good condition, better than most even when compared to later models. Great project car, Perfect body, very straight lines, no rust issues, color is an original very rare yellow; I do not know the paint code go to the library! Comes with a new MSD high energy ignition coil with new plugs, wires, dash cover and front brake pads, even the clock still ticks and works! Mechanically sound all the way around!
