I have a low mileage 96 Caprice offered.It has all available options.LT-1,V92 tow package,B4U sport performance package,G80 posi traction rear with 2.93 gears,oil cooler, trans cooler,leather dual power seats cruise control PW PDL factory heat resistant windshield(red hue) 4 wheel ABS (light is on,have not looked into it) power mirrors,power trunk remote keyless entry with factory alarm,dual exhaust,5 aluminum mag wheels,power antenna,cd stereo.The car was factory white.Previous owner had her proffesionally painted black.He wanted a black 96 loaded caprice and could not find one.Car is straight as a pin,with only a minor chip here and there,and a parking lot ding if you look hard.Had no previous accidents or bodywork.They did not paint in the jambs only topical.Easy to return her to white if desired.No rust.She has 4 firestone radials and 1 goodyear.2 of the firestones are brand new.The previous owner rearended a pickup last year,at a stoplight causing minor damage as shown in the last photo.She went under the pickups bumper so no airbag deployment or major damage at all.Extremely minor.The last photo was taken in my garage the day I bought her.She ran and drove fine as purchased.I installed a brand new hood grille radiator support fender innerfender radiator marker light and used r/s headlight.Also a brand new battery went in.Radiator did not leak but its fins were marked by the towpac fan so I installed a brand new radiator to be sure.Its a/c condensor was not touched.Its a/c is ice cold.Her suspension is what would be expected of a low mile HD suspension 96 LT1 caprice.Nice and taught.Straight allignment engine runs beautifully as does its hevy duty transmission.Rear is quiet and posi works as designed.Her dual stainless exhaust is whisper quiet without any of the usual manifold leaks.No dash lights except for the abs light is on........The top portion of the towpac radiator fan shroud is missing about 30% of its surround and Ive not found a replacement(see engine photo,its taped).Pass power front seat was operated with a book stuffed under it and it broke the forward and aft l/s cable end.Should be easy to find in a yard.Someone glued a coffeee cup or gps stand ontop of the dash.I removed what I could but it could be made better.Center armrests lid is missing.Hood and fender need to be painted black,they are only primed black.The hoods rear corners were damaged by fedex upon delivery along with some dings.Simple prepaint repairs but you should know,and will need to be repaired for paint.The front bumper cover will require a small amount of resin repair just below the right side marker light,before final prep and paint.The previous owner had front fender turn signals installed,to resemble newer cars with this feature.I did not reinstall this light on the new pass fender,but have it for the new owner should they choose to install it.These cars with these options are hard to find especially with low miles,in any condition.This car is NOT perfect.Near perfect ones are fetching double my asking price,sometimes more.I planned on finishing this car till the end,but have started a new project.and need to move on now.My everyday car is an LT1 caprice similar to this with much less options and 200,000 miles.These cars can easily and cheaply be maintained to run forever. Car is sold as is,and stated deposit must be made at auction close.If you are unsure of anything in my listing please ask questions.Thankyou
