Vehicle Detail
Hello potential auctioneers, Well I got this vehicle from a well-intentioned friend. He used to use it during winters for the 4x4 drive and the traction. I believe he also said he hooked a plow to the front once. I drove it for 28miles before it refused to start up again. SHE DOES NOT CURRENTLY RUN. I loved driving her because she's just huge! Anyway, I don't have the funds to fix her up, so I figured I'd get what I could and move on. I know she needs at the least: a new battery, alternator and ignition switch (I think that's what it's called). Before I received it, she'd been sitting in a backyard for a year being occasionally tinkered on. I can't tell you everything about her, because I simply don't know. I assume she's good for parts or as a project car ... actually, I was interested in that myself except that I don't have a job, so that's out of the question! One of the features I really admire is the ground clearance. She's got some huge tires on her... I considered saving those, but figured.. what the heck am I going to use them for?? So they're yours. If the pictures seem dingy it's because I never washed the dirt off. Heater works, never tried the A/C.. not sure if it works or not. There's some minor rust above the driver-side door, a fair amount on the back hatch door, but overall, not so bad for such an old car (at least that's my opinion). If you look at the pictures, the second is of a gap between the front side of the body and the part of the passenger-side door that has the hinges. It looks a little off, but does not affect function. The door still opens and closes just fine. There is a hole in the top of the dashboard, no clue why, but again, it does not compromise function. Just not pretty. There's a spare (huge) tire in the back, all but the passenger-side power windows still work, power locks. My friend replaced the radio with some snazzy new-fangled contraption.. pretty lights and such. Also has a cd player. It works too. There's a whole book on how to completely disassemble/reassemble a Bronco.. kinda cool, and would have come in handy if I were going to try to fix her up. Any buyer is responsible for tranporting her from the parking lot she's in to wherever. Sale is "As-is". I've done my best to accurately depict the vehicle. Serious bidding only, please. Have a great time and good luck!!On Aug-16-10 at 13:58:34 PDT, seller added the following information: Oh, looks like I was off on the mileage. I stated it's at about 250,000mi. However, the odometer reads slightly less than 230,000mi. At least I erred too high!
