When was the last time you did something exciting? It is not often that our dealership keeps a car of this type to sell on our lot or on E-Bay, but we decided to have some fun with this Mercury Capri. We have managed to take in trade a well maintained 1991 Mercury Capri Convertible. This front wheel drive, 1.6 liter, red with a black convertible roof vehicle, has caught the owner of our dealerships eye. We have decided to run a no reserve auction. We encourage you to bid high and bid often. The positive part of this car is it appears not to have any major problems. Although we have not put this car through our service department, we have taken the time to drive and evaluate so we may accurately describe the vehicle.
This car drives straight, handles well, shifts smoothly and the interior is very clean and extremely nice; it was replaced last year, along with a new top. All gauges seem to work as they should and all lights, radio, and all electrical components’ seem to be operating normally. The tires appear to have been replaced recently. Clutch works well with no chatter or noise. Air Conditioning is cold and operates as it should. The paint is not perfect, but the size of this car would make this an affordable upgrade. I did not see any rust and the body is fairly straight. For a few dollars invested, this would be a great Fun in the Sun Toy. You know you have talked about it, now just do it.
