Below is the ad that I read and ended up buying the car last month here on eBay. I had hopes that my son, who really needs a car, would love it. Unfortunatly he is stationed in florida and MUST have a/c. Well beetles this old have no a/c, so its up for sale again. It is really a cool car and runs great! Good luck. NO RESERVE! PLEASE NOTE; This car is in Norcross Georgia The Original Seller Wrote: You are buying a 1973 VW Super Beetle. IYou will notice that I replaced the rear fenders with 1972 fenders and tail lights. I just don't like the big round tail lights of the '73 & above. The engine is a 1600 plus with 88mm pistons and a mild cam. Just enough added power to make it fun to drive. All interior is new( Well I did all this 2 years ago and it's never been driven over 50 miles). It needs a driver. All ruber glass seals have been replaced. The tires look good but have weather cracks, As you can see in the picture. the windshield is smoked at the edges and has some scratches. Over all a good car.
