For Sale VERY NICE 1970 Honda Trail 70 3 speed automatic starts every time shifts smoothly rides great. Ive owned it for at least 10 of its 40 years. I grew up on one and wanted to give that experience to my son, so when the chance to buy one presented itself to me when he was about 5 years old I snapped it up. It has been a terrific way for us to bond together - riding, wrenching, getting dirty, polishing them up : ) good times!! But time moved on and now he would rather ride my 250 than the 70 so its time to pass this tradition to another DAD. You won't regret it, I know I don't. About the bike: The headlight bucket and the odometer were missing when I bought it, so I'm not sure how many miles are on it. It does still have the same Trail Wing tires on it that it had when I bought it. The black headlight bucket is a reproduction and the odometer came from a motorcycle salvage yard. I believe I replaced the throttle cable once and replaced the air cleaner with aftermarket element seen in pics. I've never had the engine apart further than taking the carb off to clean it. I've never needed to its been that reliable. Ive tried to show in the pictures that it is not perfect it has some paint chips and a couple of dings but it is 40 years old. The new seat cover and new foam were done this year because the old seat didn't look as nice as the rest of the bike. This will be sold with a bill of sale only. I hope it brings as much enjoyment to its new owners as it has us. Happy bidding
