After a lot of thought, I have decided to sell my panel that i have had for 30 years.This panel is 98% rust free! The owner i bought it from told me it was a dry cleaners van in Kentucky. i bought it with a 292 motor in it. After i got it home, me and my dad stripped it down the the frame to do a ground up resto on it back in the early 80s . I then put a 76 Volare' clip underneath and replaced the rear end with a 65 Mustang 8in.rear. 3:00 gears. I took the body off the frame.Made a dolly and put the body on it so i could roll it around.Then i sanded the truck down and primed it This van has been babied since i got it. It has been in the garage wrapped up in plastic since about 3 months ago. I have my wifes truck in the garage and i am just going to sell the panel. I have 50 pics of the van, I can't post them all,so if interested, i will send more pics. The sheet metal is oustanding.The floor in the rear still has the original paint on it. I sand blasted the whole cowl area and front and rear door jams and dash. I have a 351 windsor mocked up with a C4 trans. Both are no good. The motor is out of a 78 T-Bird. All the hard stuff is done. Borgenson steering components Olds tilt column that has been rebuilt. Ford Granada swing arm that has been lengthend so you foot wont hit the column. Custom made brake booster assembly that is to Corvette specs. i have the matching Prop. valve assy. It also has a remote oil filter assy.The column is hooked up . The rotors are new, just need to be sandblasted again. i have all the calipers and disc pads. The brake lines and gas lines havn't been ran. I have all the parts for this van except the front bumper. All the sheet metal on the van is arrow sraight. I was hoping i could find someone that would take this panel and finish what i started. i feel that my reserve is below the maket value and the popularty of 48-50 Ford trucks and panels.
