Vehicle Detail
Offered in this auction is a nice little 1998 Chevy S-10. This would be a great first vehicle for your teeneager heading to school this fall or a good daily driver to save on some gas. I bought this truck on eBay in March for my daughter's birthday and drove it home from Birmingham without a hitch. Since then she has decided that she doesn't want a pickup and I have been driving it to work (way cheaper on gas than my 3/4 ton GMC) The truck has a 4.3 liter V6 with a K&N Cold air intake and MSD iginition kit. It will haul *** or just about anything else you'd like. It really is a good little truck. I just couldn't see any point in keeping it around since she didn't want it and the driveway is filling up. However, it is a 1998 so there are some things that aren't like new. The Body: Overall the body is in good shape. The frame is straight and all the seams meet as they should. The driver side looks great, but the passenger side has a few issues. The fender has a dent right above the wheel ( I fond them for $50 on-line) and the bed looks like someone scrapped a parking rail (bed side for $100 on-line) or you could just drive it like it is like I have. The front bumper needs to be replaced but nothing behind it is damaged as far as I can tell. It has the third door that opens as you can see in the picture, but the handle is missing. THere are two hooks there you squeeze together and it opens right up. new handles are $20 on-line and take about a half hour to install. Suspension and Steering: It could probably use some shocks and an alignment, but otherwise it good to go. A little slop in the wheel but nothing out of the ordinary. Brakes and Tires: Everything works great, but will probably need pads and tires sometime before new year's if you drive it every day. Interior: No rips or tear. No radio but that's not a surprise and that's how i got it. The only real issue with the interior is that the arm rest needs to be replaced/fixed. The seats are good and comfortable, the capret is good. Headliner is good too. Title and Delivery: I'm holding a clear Tennessee title in hand. I am willing to deliver within 100 miles for free (from 37355) provided you are paid in full before I leave the house. If you have any question what so ever, DO NOT HESITATE to ask...
