Hey Girls and Guys- Here is a 1955 Chevy 2-Door Hardtop up for auction for the first time!! In 1983 this car was taken apart and sandblasted, then moved to the back of a covered workshop with concrete floors and has been stored there since!! I bought this car to restore and bring my "dream" to life, but due to an uncertain job future, I guess this car will make someone else's "dream" come true. Everything you need to put this car back together is there EXCEPT: Motor, Transmission, Windshield and Back Glass. Two of the side glass pieces have cracks, but the stainless trim that goes around ALL the windows- front, back, sides and vent glass is there. The rest of the trim and stainless for the car is ALSO there and in very good shape. The roofliner is with the car-original and the stainless bows are all still attached to the one-piece liner. The seats and door panels are all black vinyl and in very good condition. Headlights and taillights are intact with good stainless around them! The title is original and good. The car was last licensed in 1982. I can't stress enough the good condition of this car for it's age and will make someone an excellent "dream" car. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story. I'm OK with payment thru PayPal, wire transfer or cash at the time of pick-up. If your preference is personal check or cashier's check, the funds will have the clear the bank before I will release the car. The car has to be paid for within 7 days of the end of auction. The winner needs to contact me through eBay within 48 hours after the end of the auction to discuss end-of -sale details. The winning bidder will have to arrange to pick-up the car. I will be glad to help load the car after work hours-I work Mon.-Fri. We can work those details out after the sale. And as long as the car is paid for, I'm willing to keep the car until pick-up is arranged-it's on concrete in a covered building now.
