Vehicle Detail
This is a 1987 Mazda RX-7. Manual. It starts and runs but the brakes are bad so driving is not a good option right now. I put it as a 4cyl but it could be a 6. I just guessed. Didn't look. But if you are into these rx's you'll know. I volunteer for a non profit charity called Step 13, (www.step13.org). We have a car donation program. This Mazda was donated to us. As a result I don't have a whole lot of history with it. What I do know is: the folks who donated it bought it in 1996 with 86K. Right now the odometer says But... the title will say 'O'. Colorado DMV does that as a matter of routine on cars more than 10 years old. We put in a new battery, fuel pump and rear brake lines but our mechanic says the brake booster might be bad b/c brakes still not working properly. Body is in decent shape but clear coat has come off the paint in some areas. (see pics) Windshield has a horizontal crack closer to the bottom. Sunroof does not work and rear window needs sealing. Passenger door isn't closing all the way... ajar a bit. Interior very good except for a split seam on the edge of the driver's seat. Even though it runs It'll need to be towed to it's new home because of brake issue. We have a dealer's license so all the dealer paperwork has to be completed before pick up and if you live in Colorado we have to collect the applicable taxes and sell it as a 'tow away'. Also if it sells below $400 we will add $150 fee for all the dealer paperwork. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge! If you have some other question you think i can answer best to reach me via email: wheelswest@earthlink.net While this is a "No Reserve" auction I'll be happy to entertain offers. We don't have a 'Buy it Now' price but will consider a strong offer. If you buy it we need a deposit withing 24 hours and full payment within 3 days. In addition to wanting it paid for in full within 3 days we'd also like it picked up within 3 days. We're in downtown Denver and space is at a premium. Obviously, if you're far away we can try to work with you but we don't want to have to store it for more than a week. We need it moved ASAP. So please don't bid if you can't get it soon. And please don't bid if you're not good at following thru. Relisting cars is a waste of time. I think that about covers it. Thanks, Wendy
