The GOOD: Up for sale/auction is a LOW mileage Ford Windstar that was/is Personally Owned by an ASE Certified Mechanic.........Only the Highest Quality Parts Were Used In Maintaining and Repairing This Van, recently installed were 4 tires w/ Full BJ's Wholesale Club Road Hazard and Treadlife Warranty (fully warranty and paperwork included), New Heads and Intake installed at 72K by Ford Dealer, the A/C is ICE cold even in 100 plus degrees and has rear controls and ducts as well, Transmission shifts like it was new and the fluid is bright red and has no burnt smell whatsoever, the Exhaust is Bright and Shiny with little surface rust, the interior is immaculate with no rips tears or staining, and everything works the way it is supposed to --- all lights, bells and whistles. the radio has a working tape deck and rear seat controls as well, there is also a full roof rack with dealer installed cross bars, this van has a towing package (w/o hitch) however it was never used for towing. The GREAT: !!FREE FREE---Van is due to have the Speed Control Computer and Cruise Control System Replaced under Recall and Have a Free 90/100k Service By any Ford Dealer - i already have the paperwork and work order (As soon as the leak is fixed). The SO SO : First as this is a used van there are some small dents and dings and the lower front corner bumper cover has a crack. The Could Be Worse: The head gasket is slowly leaking and will need repair (The repair will cost from 450-950+ depending on if you use a private shop or the dealer....the choice is yours) I am forced to sell this van due to the fact that we just out grew it, it is perfect if u have to seat 7 but not if u need to seat 8 so this is your chance to get a van for far less then book value and drive off into the sunset (after you fix the leak). UPDATE:................A potential bidder/buyer had an Independent ASE certified mechanic check out the van today. He inspected the engine and determined that that the head gasket leak is more minor then i thought. He also confirmed that there is no internal engine or bearing damage. He recommended that since the leak is small a gasket sealer such as BARR'S HEAD GASKET SEALER is a good product to try before replacing the head gasket and may ultimately solve the leak..........so i purchased the sealer today at Auto Zone and I am including the unopened bottle w/ the van to winning bidder/buyer. I am also including a new FRAM air filter a new FRAM PH3600 oil filter and 2 new MICHELINE wiper blades. GOOD LUCK and BID to WIN!!!!!
