This is a very desirable and beautiful Special Edition, 2 tone, 2 door Coupe Mark V. The special Flamingo Red side coves with gold pinstripes really set it apart. Only 1461 of the two door Coupes (code 65A) were ever produced, which makes this model much rarer than the four door sedan (code 75A @ 6604 units) or the convertible (code 68A @ 2044 units). This very impressive car can be bought and driven immediately. It is NOT a project like many others you see listed on eBay, that will require thousands of dollars in repairs and hard to find parts. The body is incredibly straight and is rust free. The chrome and stainless are in great condition with the bumpers having been re-chromed by the previous owner. The taillight panel is correctly "blacked out". The drive train is in great running condition with smooth power from the 429ci V8. This great boulevard cruiser is a very plush drive with a vast amount of power on tap. The car has just recently received the following treatment: 1. AC Service 2. Brake Service that included many new parts, including a rebuilt Master Cylinder. 3. New Carpet 4. New Headliner 5. New Dash Pad and Cover 6. Resealed Gas Tank 7. New Exhaust 8. Carburetor/Fuel system Service 9. Electric Windows Service, that included many new parts. 10. Rebuilt Wiper Motor Power seat and power windows work. Power steering is excellent. Power steering is working properly. The unibody is very clean and solid underneath. The Black interior features new carpet and dash pad and headliner and front seat covers. The rear seats and all door panels are in good condition, as is all interior chrome. The paint is a few years old but shines very well with only very minor flaws the size of a pencil eraser. Again no rust. All the glass is perfect with one 2 inch crack on the the extreme right of the windshield. It has been repaired by the Glass Doctor. All in all this is a very presentable collector vehicle that get thumbs up and waves wherever it goes.
