Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this 2000 Cheverolet Corvette with only 58,905 miles. It is number 5 of 1000 Millennium edition corvettes made. This vehicle is in absolute factory original condition, it has the original paint, and has never needed any damage repair. It was originally a California desert car that was always garaged. The first owner was the Mayor of Bakersfield CA, and I believe he may have realized this was a bit too flashy for him and he sold it only 6 months after buying it new. The second owner had it approximately 5 years and had to sell it due to her back problems, the doctor said she needed to drive a luxury car. And we have owned it since 2006. We moved from CA to the current location (Gothenburg NE) three years ago, and this car is rarely driven here, and never in foul weather, and it is always garaged. This car is as clean and beautiful as it looks in the pics. It runs perfectly, and everything works as it should, there are no fluid leaks of any kind. There is no damage to the underside, which is important due to the stance and amount of aluminum under these cars. There are two tops that come with it, the glass tinted moon roof, and the body color roof. The tires are Firestone run flats and have about 6,000 miles on them, and have at least 85% tread left. The following is a list of the flaws it has accumulated in the last ten years: There is a vertical scratch in the drivers side window – shown in one of the pics. There are some small pits in the windshield, and one very small rock ding – also shown in a pic. There are some minor surface scratches here and there in the paint especially around the side of the rear hatch, they would probably polish out, but are almost unnoticeable unless you look closely. There is a scuff in the paint under the right corner of the nose, where a curb was rubbed while angle parking, it is under the car, and would be easy to touch-up - see pic. The drivers side door panel is delaminating at the armrest – shown in a pic. This car looks like new – if you look up close, you will see some very minor flaws, but far less than you would expect from any car of this age and mileage. There is no rust anywhere on this car, and the interior is like new other than the drivers armrest as noted. This is an awesome car – and is of great value, but we simply don’t drive it here in NE, and need to send it to a new home. I can deliver this car west from NE – but please inquire before bidding. Any questions, Call Dan at 308-529-3279 On Aug-02-10 at 07:30:41 PDT, seller added the following information: This car has all the usual C5 Corvette power/luxury options, plus dual zone climate control, CD player, three way ride control, traction control system, run-flat tires, tire pressure sensors that automatically alarm if low and can all be read on the dash. Nothing has been altered on this car other than usual mantenance related items and new brass gears installed in the headlight doors to replace the plastic factory ones that commonly break. This is a high bluebook car, with a reserve set below low bluebook!
