Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1971 El camino with a 68 front clip.I originally bought this car to be the shop go getter.Unfortunately the times dont allow me to keep it.The camino started out life as a plane jane car.It came with a 6 cylinder, three on the tree.It did not come with power steering or power brakes. When I bought it,it had no front clip on it,but was clean as can be from the fire wall back.It had no interior,or engine and tranny.I found a perfect front clip out of Tucson off of a 68,and installed it.I bought a 350 engine and transmission from a guy that rolled his 85 Chevy 3/4 ton truck, that he had put a Goodwrench motor in.He had the tranny rebuilt when he put the crate motor in.It only had 28,000 miles on it before he wrecked it.The interior is in good shape.I put a set of Recaro style seats in it,and found some very decent door panels out of a 70 chevelle I found. The dash was in almost perfect shape,so nothing had to be done there. Here is a list of new stuff i put on the car when I put it together. New seats. New windshield New carpet Rebuilt front end--Ball joints, tie rods and ends, all new polyurethane bushings New Brakes New exhaust New shocks New paint New tires and wheels This is of course no show car. However it is one clean, straight, and almost rust free El camino.I put new sheet metal in a couple of spots on the floor pans, and at the bottom of the rear window had some minor rust issues that I took care of as well.It runs great, and looks great. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.Bid with confidence, because my positive feedback means everything to me.Also a winning bid is a contract to buy.Do not bid on my vehicle if you do not intend to take it home.I am not looking to send one of my kids to college on the sale of this car.So it has a very reasonable reserve.thanx and good luck
