This is a very clean Early-Style Westfalia camper with a recent paint job and brand new interior restoration. This VW runs smoothly and starts quickly. 63932 mileage. It is currently registered and ready to enjoy. Being native to California, the car is generally rust free with a dry pan and has recently undergone a complete interior restoration which includes original cabinets in nearly new condition, original mustard cushions, professionally fabricated birch ply panels with light stain (beautiful job), new upholstered front door panels and front seat covers, new tent top, professionally made curtains with fabric very similar to the original, and new carpets. The car is clean with no body damage. The paint seems recent but the body work is not perfect with some very slight waves along the sides. All said, this Westy is still a very respectable driver and shows well. All window seals are newer except for the rear sides. I have a set of these that I will include with the car. The Westy also features a newly finished birch headliner to match the side panels, and to match as closely as possible to the original woodwork. The inside smells fresh and new, the tires are near new with plenty of tread. I would not call this a total restoration, there is still some odds and ends that I did not get to which includes the following:-a radio that has not been connected-incorrect sink tank that requires a funnel to fill-brake light on driver's side is out-the blinker lever is stuck-an oil gauge was installed but it is not connected-I have the early style reflectors for the driver's side (not installed) It is not perfect but I am very proud of the work I've invested.
