Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1952 Hudson Wasp. Actual Mileage is unknown. The car is rough, but from what I can see is complete except for matching hubcaps and two pieces of stainless trim (one over the rear window, and one on the drivers side). The engine was last run 3 years ago when I first bought the car, it does not knock, but the complete condition is unknown. I have never driven the car, nor is it drivable. It has no brakes, but parts to fix the brakes come with the car: shoes, hoses, wheel cylinder kits, and master cylinder kit. The clutch is currently stuck (it is a wet type clutch), and the cross shift cable is stiff making it nearly impossible to move from the first-reverse rail to the second-third rail. The front floor boards will need to be replaced, and the passenger rear floor board will need to be patched. The transmission floor cover is with the car, but is not pictured. Condition of the trunk is unknown because the key will not open it, and I have not taken the time to pull the rear seat. The car would make a great "lead sled" and be different from the traditional '49 Merc, or the car could be used as a parts car for another Hudson Restoration. The car can be stored fir 30 days at no cost, but a $500 deposit will be required within three days of aution close.
