First off - let me say that I'm sorry to cancel this item and then relist it. I'm not good at EBAY and I didn't set a reserve price. Hopefully I did it right this time!!! Originally from Michigan, this 1967 bug had a rear glass leak most of its life. A new rear floor, some VW replacement panels, and a new battery tray later, this bug's window probem was finished. Other than those few things, it was in very good shape for 43 year old "northern" car. New 1600 engine from "Keith's VW" (in Elkview, WV), new carb and electronic ignition, new interior (red!) including new seats, carpet, headliner, door panels, etc. New glass, bumpers, and lights. New AM/FM CD player, new tires with original 5 lug pattern wheels. Also installed a camber compensator in the rear as this old swing axle liked to buckle a little in turns (inherent in the old swing axles) ...but not anymore! Original color VW tan with a small door ding in the passenger side door. Also, a few small paint cracks in the drip rails above drivers door. Nothing major in paint, but I wanted to let you know every little minor detail in advance! Less than 1500 miles on tires and motor. New sticker, clean title, and ready to go. NOTE - This bug is a SUMMER daily driver for me. I drive it about once a week into town for groceries (about 20 miles round trip). When it's not sunny and warm out, its in my enclosed barn with a VW car cover over it and I start it about every 2 weeks in the winter just to hear her purr. Please don't expect a show car (even though it is showable!). It's a bug to drive for the next 20 years. Please email me and I'll send more pics, more info, and whatever else you want!
