This 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible is a real beauty. Seven years ago I put this beautiful 1965 chevelle super sport under a on the frame restoration. It has only been driven 4000 miles since then. It has the original 283 with a 2 barrel carb and 2 speed power glide. The motor was completely gone through and balanced. The valve guides were upgraded to work with unleaded fuel. The carburator was sent to California and rebuilt and recolored to the original. The distributor was sent out and curved to match the engine and the points were replaced by electronics, inside the original distributor. The transmission was also rebuilt. The exterior was repainted with 2 stage paint and clear to the original color. The quarter panels were replaced and the drivers floor and drivers trunk metal were replaced. The interior was all redone to the original style. The passengers seat and rear seat have some tiny holes ( from kitty) you cannot see in pictures they are small. The car comes with a new set of original style seat covers. I never had them installed due to the other new ones are still new. The Chevelle Malibu is very rare it is Originally from Canada. Built by GM of Canada. The brake system has been rebuilt and is still the drum brakes front and rear. The front end suspension was all redone. I have the original hub caps . The top is in good shape. The car is always stored inside. This is and has been a great car, it runs and drives great. It has power steering and power brakes. It is a beauty and needs a good home.
