Up for auction is an old 1953 MGTD highly modified race car. This car has won many trophies in hill climbs etc, and has had several updates. I am helping an old friend of mine sell this car as he doesn't have a computer, and is in very ill health, forcing the sale. It is equiped with a high compression race type 1985 Toyota 1600cc Twin Cam engine, front disk brakes, hard plastic racing bucket seats with harnesses etc. The interior is fairly stripped down, and I don't even think it has things like a heater. It is currently loaded on a trailer, which COMES WITH THE SALE, clear Montana titles on both, and is literally ready to roll. The trailer VIN is 700038, and is a year 1970. We are starting this auction off real cheap, because of the health condition, and information is somewhat limitted. I can answer some questions or pass them on. This car is in running condition, trailer is ready to go. This car and trailer are being sold as is where is. We will ask for a $500 PayPal deposit, and the remaining difference to be paid when you come to pick up the vehicle. It has padded Fiberglass seats (2) but only one installed currently. 5-speed transmission, has some small tears on the top, has the side curtain wing windows (plexiglass) , also, the wheel sizes are 205 50 R15 Cooper Cobra tires with about 3/8" of tread left. Only one spot of damage to the rear passenger side fender as shown in one of the pics, it has a fire extinguisher mounted by the tranny, K&N air filters on the carbs, No visible rust but looks like there has been some bondo or bodywork done at some time, it also has a roll cage (chrome) mounted behind the driver and passenger seats, and the trailer has no electric brakes but has ramps to load and unload. Tires on the trailer are missmatched brands and look so so as shown. Thanks, this is all I know about it from going to see it today!
