Vehicle Detail
This is a blue 1983 Honda Magna V65 VF1100C. It has just under 25,000 miles on it. Very little for a 27 year-old bike. It has a little surface rust on tailpipes and around some nuts, bolts, and mirrors (there is a second set of round mirrors if purchaser would like). It will need new tires and some exhaust work (the exhaust is mostly original and has some rust issues). It has a lot of power and a quick take off although it has what seems a usual Honda problem with models of this age with slipping out of 2nd gear if revved to high (has not been a major issue in the 5 years I have owned it). There is also some pitting on the muffler as well as dents on the fender and missing corner off the left side panel. Also, some minor scratches in the paint. There All signals, horn, and lights work although there is a short in the turn signals that has been present since I owned the bike. Seems to happen when air is moist, but has always started working fine after several minutes of starting the bike. There is no title. Again, it is a 27 year-old bike and resembles some of the usual wear and tear over the years. It is not in showroom condition, but has a lot of potential for the right person that has the time and energy to invest in what was once the fastest production bike of its time. This is a great classic bike that is a lot of fun to ride. I have put on over 800 miles in the last couple of months. It starts up easily and is otherwise in good mechanical shape. There is the factory handle for the sissy bar instead of the aftermarket backrest that is currently on the bike. Carbs were cleaned two years ago, new battery last year. I am trying to be fully honest and represent this bike as best as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to email and I will respond ASAP. More pictures available if requested. I am selling the bike as is. The purchaser is responsible for pick-up (Central Vermont) within 2 weeks of end of sale. Payment: $200.00 by PayPal within 48 hours of end of sale and the rest in cash (possible certified cashier’s check from a local bank) at time of pick up.
