I am the second owner of this all original 4x4 Jeep truck with factory flatbed, side racks and Dump.It's first life was 31 years in a cemetery as a dirt mover then my small farm for about ten years as a firewood and jeep parts mover. When I restored a jeeps I would move parts around and store them with the truck. It has not been no the highway since I have owned it. Clean Indiana title I am now handicap and selling the farm so old red has to have a new home. 6 cyl. motor runs quiet no knocks, bangs or wheezes and runs strong Professionally rebuilt carberator last summer 4 sp with granny low transmission 4x4 with high and low range, really low range, not like todays 4x4's Barn, shed or garage kept Flat bed with all original side racks. Cemetery never used the racks and they were in a shed for 31 years. excellent condition! Dump is electric motor driving a hydraulic pump. It has TWO three stage lift cylinders. Lifts two ricks of wood with no problem and will hold load up. Bed bottom replaced with treated wood about 10 years ago. Now the bad news .... This is a 41 year old truck. It has been a work truck that was taken care of by only two owners. There is frame rot in back by the spring shackles.. Not a lot but it is there. The back fenders are off but I have them for repair or patterns. The brakes do not work. I pulled the back hubs and pulled the wheel cylinders then got sick and didn't finish the job. I have all the old parts that go with the truck. It was still used around the farm we just turned the key off while in low transfer range. Small farm we never went to far or to fast.:) Front seat and interior are very worn Some light surface rust through....... Old Red is ready for restoration, the picture tell the story, it's a great truck. No you can't buy it and drive it home so don't think about it. I will have help available to help load as needed.
