Vehicle Detail
If interested you are bidding on my 1954 International pickup. I have owned this old truck for 34 years. The truck started service on a small family farm in South Dakota being purchased new by Mr. Stu Noble. Mr Noble used the truck around the farm for many years and after his death it remained in the barn. Sometime in the early 70's Mrs Noble passed the IH down to her grandson Harry who was serving in the Army in Missouri. In 1975 Harry was transferred and drove the IH to Dayton Ohio and we served together. I had a 1969 corvette that Harry fell in love with but was a little short on cash. The old truck became part of the deal. Because of my military career and overseas jobs the truck has been in storage most of the time which accounts for the low mileage. It still has the original shock absorbers on it. This old truck is as solid as they come. It has dents, scatches, bumps, the door windows are cracked and it is unrestored. It still looks pretty good. The bed, frame, inner fenders and under carriage are in excellent condition. There are several small rust holes in the passenger side floor and some rust in the tailgate hinge but remains solid. The 220 Silver Diamond engine purrs like a kitten. The brakes are good, clutch is good, transmission shifts as it should and the exhaust and fuel pump are new. This truck also came with the factory grain rack option from IH. I have described this truck to the best of my knowledge. If you have any questions please call Terry at 1-937-830-3154. It is being sold with no warranty or guarantee..it is sold as is. The new owner will be responsible for shipping and transport. A $500.00 deposit is required within 24 hrs after the auction and the balance within 7 days. Thank you for looking.
