This 1997 Volkswagon Jetta TDI turbo diesel is finished in black with a gray interior. First the exterior. Overall the paint and body looks good. No dents or surprises. Various small scuffs and maybe a few scratches but nothing serious at all. This car came in trade missing all four door moldings. They can be purchased used at either a junk yard or right here on E-bay for about $20 to $40 a piece. This TDI has alloy wheels with matching tires that are all in great shape. Overall this Jetta's exterior is very presentable and has simply normal wear and tare. Next the interior. This Jetta's seats are all in good condition. Slightly soiled but clean and presentable. The headliner and rugs are also in good condition. All four door panels are also in good condition. The sunroof operates fine too. The radio sounds fine although the led screen is a bit worn. The AC works wonderful and is very cold. Overall the interior is clean and everything operates fine. Finally the mechanics of this car. The glow plugs have no issues and car starts fine. The transmission shifts through all gears fine including reverse. The clutch grabs fine as well. The check engine light was on when I took this car in trade. The code was a rom error code and I cleared the code and it hasn't come on since. The suspension is fine as well as the brakes. The exhaust also looks fine too. The turbo boosts fine and this car has plenty of power through all of the gears. Overall this TDI runs and drives fine. It has it's small blemishes but nothing serious.
