Offering a pristine 78 F150. This truck has been family owned since new. It has never been wrecked , rusted or off roaded. Garage kept since picked up in 78. Exterior has been repainted in 2007 by professional body shop. No repair panels were added or bondo'd up. All sheet metal is Ford factory steel - no aftermarket body panels. It was painted original red with clear coat. It has a flawless finish with perfect body lines , the inside of the box is as perfect as the hood finish. The interior has new carpet and a recovered seat with new foam. All door panels , dash pad , headliner and sun visors are original and perfect. Again , no cheap aftermarket crap. The original Ford radio is in place and the dash is not cut up. We had a Hidden radio system installed { brand name} behind the dash with a amph and speaker system professionally installed behind the seat. It has a ten disc C.D. changer and a remote control. No holes were drilled to mount speaker board , it is free standing. Only small digital display under dash is visible to the naked eye. All door seals ,window seals and glass runers were replaced. Original aluminum rear slider was rebuild with new seals and tinted. All steering components were replaced as well as ball joints , all brakes and hardware ,and control arm bushings. Items such as heater core ,waterpump , belts and hoses ,plugs wires cap rotor and so on are new. Complete dual exhaust with alum. coated piping installed. Both driveshafts were rebuilt by a local rebuilder and tubes replaced and painted grey. The rear main seal was replaced along with a high volumn / pressure oil pump. All bearings were inspected at this point and were in excellent shape. Starter and flywheel were replaced whilel disassembled. A top of the line B.D.S. 4 inch lift was installed with matching B.D.S. shocks including dual front shocks and steering stabilizer. Both front coil and rear leaf springs were replaced with lift so there is no crappy spacers used. 17 inch Mickey Thompson wheels were installed with Dick Cepek tires. This truck drives better than it did in 78 and looks sharper. I have owned a repair facility for 15 years and all this work [ other than paint] was done in my shop. My uncle bought this truck new and I bought it from him when he moved to Fla. No kid has ever owned this truck. It has been adult owned and loved from day one. It has been in heated storage for the last two years , being started and moved every month. The 351m motor is solid and the c6 tranny is tight. Four w heel drive works great too with original ford lockouts [also rebuilt]. I feel comfortable saying there is not a more perfect unmolested truck available. I'm not broke or out of work or desperate to sell I just feel someone else could enjoy it and show it as my time does not allow. If you are serious call 616-836-5477 with any questions.
