I am selling this for my dad since he does not drive anymore. 2004 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab LS with short bed. 2WD. Vortec 8.1 Engine with Allison Transmission. Tow Package. Overall, great shape for a 6 year old truck. 12,100 miles. 501 hours running per the Hourmeter. Oil changed yearly since my dad stopped driving it. Cap (ARE) comes with the truck, as does the "carpeted" bed liner. Power windows, locks, mirrors. Automatic Climate Control - blows cold air - used it over the July 4th Weekend with no problems. Rear Window Defroster. Turn signals built into heated, power side mirrors (factory option). Cloth seats with out any noticeable wear. Temperature and Compass built into automatic self-dimming mirror. I know of no issue with the truck except two: 1. Rear passenger door lock does not work --> door can be manually locked with door lock, but does not lock/unlock with key fob or power lock switch. 2. Left Rear damage quarter panel damage to truck (see picture) - damaged from small utility trailer that I was towing. Tires are original, so they are 6 years old, but look to be in good shape. Factory hitch and 7 pin harness (GM 4 pin converter in glove box). Electric Trailer brake controller also wired in and included. I have included many pictures, but please feel free to ask about any specifics. Clear title in hand. This truck is the perfect tow vehicle. My dad used this truck to tow his trailer without any problems. The HD variant is a heavy-duty light truck. The 2500HD is available with the Vortec 8100 V8 with 340 hp (254 kW) at 4200 rpm and 455 lb·ft (617 N·m) of torque at 3200 rpm.The 2500HD has an available five-speed (six-speed for 2006-2007 models) Allison 1000 transmission.
