1985 Chevy Monte Carlo SS (Super Sport) PROJECT CAR You are bidding on a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. This vehicle is a project car and has no engine but, does have a rebuilt 2004R transmission. We purchased this car, as it is my husbands dream car but, we haven't had the time to start on it. It has been in our garage covered for the past couple of years. We are selling because we obviously don't have the time and need the extra cash. Overall the car is in good condition. The exterior is purple.. why? we don't know but, we bought it that way. We started sanding the hood but, didn't get far. The car has minor dings/scratches but, nothing major. It has a few areas of minor rust in the usual places on these. Lower inner doors and left rear trunk area around the wheel well.. very small areas. No major rust by any means! The interior is burgandy/maroon. It is faded but, for an 85' in fairly good condition.. not trashed like alot othem are. Tires are in good condition except for 1. LOW RESERVE SET ON THIS AT $700.
