exact10 store 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe, 2 owner California Blue Plate, 54k miles from new Delivered new on 11th April 1984 by California Porsche-Audi of Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco to its new owner, Mrs.Weber of San Jose, this 911 was bought as a highly optioned coupe. Included with the owners manual and service book are the original dealer invoice, sales agreement, mileage statement and window sticker. The spec listed includes Metallic Paint, Full leather interior, Turbo Style Sports Seats, Black Headliner, Cruise Control and Option Group E18 which I believe includes the Sunroof and AC. It has a Blaupunkt Stereo and CD Stacker under the hood It was acquired by the second owner in 1995, a neighbor of mine and has been kept here in the Bay Area ever since, it's lived in a dry climate and has benefited from mild winters and the California sunshine and therefore has no sign of rust or corrosion anywhere, indeed all of the zinc plated fittings still shine, inside the wheelarches, hood latches, door striker plates, you can see this in the pictures. I can find no evidence of accident damage anywhere, there are however stone chips on the front hood and mirrors The interior is full leather, this includes the doors, dashboard and front and rear seats. The front seats are Sports Seats with the extended sides- 930 Turbo style, the interior is dark blue and matches brilliantly with the Prussian Blue exterior. The headliner was a special order in black (these are usually white) The AC is not working, I think it needs a recharge, the compressor works but the air isn't cold. The interior condition is generally excellent, it has benefited from Non Smoking owners and still smells like a Porsche, the carpets are lovely, they still have the factory overmats with "Porsche" logo, the leather is good although in places it's dry, especially the dashboard top which is warped from the California sun. The instruments are clear and bright and everything works as it should. The Motor is as you would expect from such a low mileage car, it starts easily, has excellent oil pressure and makes no unusual noises. The Transmission shifts easily, no grinding, excellent synchros, the clutch is smooth and there is no whining from the dif. Driving down the road the car tracks absolutely straight, no pulling at all The bodywork is lovely, it's mainly original paint but I think that some of the panels have been repainted, I can find no evidence of accident damage, all panels fit properly, the gaps are lovely and the doors open and close with ease, and of course, there's no rust anywhere! The Fuchs wheels are all original and have no noticeable curb marks. Summary In my opinion the color is wonderful, Prussian Blue or "Scheifer Blau" is a lovely color on 911s, combined with a full leather interior and a lack of spoilers make this a beautifully appointed car, the fact that its a 2 owner low mileage California Car with its original Blue Licence plates and full books and toolkit make it a great find. It's just passed Smog and so it's ready for its new owner Inspections are more than welcome any time before auctions end, I am presently having the car fully serviced, oil, filters, brake fluid flush by a Porsche specialist.
