Vehicle Detail

This is a 1973 Dodge 100 Pick-Up. V8. Auto. 2wd. Runs and drives. I volunteer for a non profit charity called Step 13, (www.step13.org). We have a car donation program. This Pick Up was donated to us. As a result I don't have a whole lot of history with it. What I do know is: the man who donated it to us bought it in New Mexico a little over a year ago. He was going to restore it but never got around to it. While the odometer says 78K miles i'm guessing it's 178K. But... the title will say 'O'. Colorado DMV does that as a matter of routine on cars more than 10 years old. Body is in very decent shape. Interior good too. There is a bench seat cover over the original seat. Windshield cracked. Tires good. Radio is missing speakers so I don't know if it works. It also has a CB but I did not test it. We put gas in it but the gas gauge didn't move so it might not be working. All lights and blinkers work. And the engine runs well. It seems to be a pretty straight pick up. As you can see from the pics there is a lock box in the bed and a metal cage protecting the back window. I do believe that it's been repainted but it does look like the original color was red. If you plan on bidding and you live out of state I always suggest to people that they transport cars just because we don't have any history with them. I hate to see people fly in, get in and just drive off. While thisFord seems solid it just makes me nervous to see you get on the highway and drive off into the sunset without knowing the truck a little better. But obviously this is your choice. Please don't ask me if I think it'll make it to Topeka or Tacoma. I have no idea. All I can say is it's running right now and it seems like a decent solid classic. We have a dealer's license so all the dealer paperwork has to be completed before pick up and if you live in Colorado we have to collect the applicable taxes. But we will give you a temp tag and registration. Also if it sells below $600 we will add $150 fee for all the dealer paperwork. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge! If you have some other question you think i can answer best to reach me via email: wheelswest@earthlink.net While this is a "No Reserve" auction I'll be happy to entertain offers. We don't have a 'Buy it Now' price but will consider a strong offer. If you buy it we need a deposit withing 24 hours and full payment within 3 days. In addition to wanting it paid for in full within 3 days we'd also like it picked up within 3 days. We're in downtown Denver and space is at a premium. Obviously, if you're far away we can try to work with you but we don't want to have to store it for more than a week. We need it moved ASAP. So please don't bid if you can't get it soon. And please don't bid if you're not good at following thru. Relisting cars is a waste of time. I think that about covers it. Thanks, Wendy
