Vehicle Detail
Have a super nice 1987 Trans Am For Sale. Repainted 6 months ago. Not just an overspray, but we took all trim, side skirts off and painted them separately. Painted back factory color, red with silver bottom. 16" GTX rims painted to match silver tirm on car. Hated the rubber factory rear spolier, installed a Hawks 4th generation rear spolier. Turned our "really" nice. T Tops are in near perfect condition. With Covers. Tops "do not" leak. New rubber scrappers. All rubber good. Glass Good. Has vinyl roll over cover for trunk area. New factory style interior, seats, carpet. Just installed a B & M shifter, not for racing, just liked the looks of it. This car is adult driven. Wife and I are cruisers, not go fast people. We enjoy car shows mauch better. Last show we went to was the 25th Trans Am nationals in Dayton OH. Had a blast and car performed perfectly. AC has been converted to new refrig. Blows real cold. Kenwood AM/FM/CD player. Engine has 125,000 miles. AT the same. No problems with either. Recently done things: new water pump. Old one didn't leak, I just thought it was due. New shocks, New brake pads and shoes. AT just serviced. Car also has crusie control. Had the front pop up head lights realigned. They work perfectly. Had new chicken put on hood. I know its no correct for the year, but I just liked it!!!! New plugs and wires. My GM repair guy tells me the carb (4bbl) could use a rebuilt. Starts/runs/idle good, but the butterfly is a little wore. Doesn't leak. New in tank fuel pump and sender. New power window switchs, new alarm system. Motor is box stock. Can't think of anything else. Selling because I found a 1968 AMX like I had back in my youth. Wife says I can't have two toys. She has to have a place to park HER car in the garage. Good luck. This will make a really nice car for an enter level collector. Car located in Bethpage, TN, 50 miles north of Nashville, "Music City" TN. Fly in and drive home!!!!
