Up for auction is my 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. If you are looking for a perfect corvette, keep looking. If you are looking for an exceptional daily driver, this is it. I bought it from a 59 year old machinist in December. He bought it with 70k back in 1993. Apparently he enjoyed working on it more then he liked driving it. He rebuilt the motor, transmission, output shaft, new radiator, new rack and pinion system, new leather seats, real leather...$1500 worth. I bought it thinking I'd have more time to enjoy it, I was wrong. Most of the time it sits, to the point that its starting to get flat spots on the tires. Tires have less then 5k on them by the way. I put a new stage 1 clutch in it last month when I had the A/C serviced and topped off. Car has a 6 month old Pioneer CD player in it. The exhaust seems throatier than factory. Also has a K&N filter that is almost new. The Bad: it does have some paint chips and blemishes. There are a few cracks in the paint along the hood cowl. Window motors are a little slow some times. I don't really have problems with the top leaking unless I go through a full service car wash, I prefer to handwash anyways. The weather stripping at the base of the door windows could use replaced. Aside from the window motors, the faults with the car are cosmetic. I will try and attach pictures of the blemishes. Any questions or other pictures you'd like, don't hesitate to ask.
