Vehicle Detail
1967 Triumph Bonneville for sale. This has been a project of mine for the last 1 1/2 years and has been completely rebuilt from the ground up. All the typical motor work was complete for this 650 motor including sludge trap up, new pistons and rings, gasket kits, etc. I am sure I am going to miss some of the things that have been done to this bike but here is the rundown.Removed the points and replaced with a new Boyers ignition.New 6” over hardtail from mapcycleNew Chain Tensioner from Rask cycleNew Sissy Bar made by Metal 7 WestNew rear fender New Oil TankNew LaRosa seat with an old school lookNew Boyers IgnitionNew handlebars, throttle cables, clamps, New Triumph rubber foot peg kit.Polished coversNew PipesNumerous parts form Rabers and SteadfastThe hardtail, sissy bar, rear tailight, rear fender, frame, front end and wheels are all powder coated black. Tank was recently painted to match. The wheel setup is a 21” avon on front 18” Dunlop on the back. You will notice the battery box that was welded to the hardtail, along with a chain tensioner and a key with the 2 way switch. The red switch is not wired to anything now, had plans to run the headlight off of it but hadn’t got that far yet. The high pipes give this a great look and have an awesome tone. Instead of going with the standard light on front I found this amber colored fog lite on Jockey Journal. It has a label on it that says “Guide 5-3/4 Fog Lite 2002-e” and works well. This bike has a clear Oregon title and is good to go. Starts on the 2nd and 3rd kick every time and like all Triumphs there are a few drops of oil on the ground after it has been running for a while. Only issue is that it sometimes grinds a little going into first but this should be easily resolved with some clutch adjustment. Any questions let me know. This is a great bike. Good luck.
