Up for auction is my 1979 Camaro i love this car and have been restoring it for 2 years but i am in a spot and unfortunately it has to go to a new home, i will give you the best description i can. First off the car is nice i purchased it 2 years ago, the car was completely stripped to the metal and reworked as needed. the car is in nice condition but it needs to be finished. The hard work is all done. The interior is in really nice condition no tears no holes, the drivers seat was restored and recovered. The motor was redone 3 years ago i ran it in an 80 rs for a summer i used the 80 rs as a parts car for this 79. The motor is a 350 smothered in polished aluminum and chrome. when i pulled it from the 80 rs i resealed the whole motor with a excellent felpro kit, including the rear seal everything that could be replaced was. i also put a brand new alt aluminum water pump and a noisy jp gear drive (this gear drive is excellent $450 bucks for it.. It has a torker 2 intake the head are cleaned out and polished, topped with a polished 600 holly The headers are new and have been ceramic coated by Spence industries. It has a brand new set of chrome pullies belts hoses new power steering pump and hoses. It has a brand new aluminum radiator also electric fan, The exhaust headers ceramic then from the headers back it was aluminum coated and has new turbo mufflers it sound really nice. The motor fires fast and runs super smooth, in the video there was a edelbrock carb with has been changed to a really nice holly carb. Also in the video i wasn't finished with it at the time it has since been finished and looks killer see the picks The transmission is a Saginaw it was completely gone through and resealed it is in excellent condition the flywheel is new brand new clutch , pressure plate everything it brand new from the pedals to the to the trans is new and i have receipts for tons of other things in it. The shifter was rebuilt the drive shaft was redone with heavy duty u joints, the rearend is a 3.73 posi has brand new leaf springs installed the frame is tied. The driveline is complete and the car will fire rite up and is drivable. the drive line is excellent. Has all brand new American Racing OutLaw 1 rims, front are 14x7 rear 15x8 with 255/60/15 The floors are solid trunk is nice. rockers are perfect i have brand new smoked tail lights for it from summit. The Hood is an L88 done very very nice. The traction bars were custom made for me at a machine shop, they are set up to hit the eye not the spring there excellent. All brand new gauges oil temp bat, has 5 inch Autometer tach, there all hooked up. I have thousands of dollars in this car it just needs to be finished and painted, i wasn't building it to sell i was building it for me and i was building it rite. what it needs yet i have all the glass but the windshield (there $125 new at any glass shop) and the new rubber seal kit. The car when it was stripped i had the window channels the trunk the frame the floor boards and anywhere that it could be exposed to water or moisture it is coated with POR 15 Hope this covers most of it, all i can say is i really feel sick selling it, this car is gonna kickass when it is finished and it is so close it wont take much to get it out to enjoy.
