1966 American Motors (AMC) Rambler Ambassador DLP, 97k original miles!, teal exterior, teal/black interior, factory AMC rally wheels, BFG tires are in excellent shape, Factory 327ci V8 with 3 spd auto trans, rare dealer installed triple deuce intake and carburetors, one of very few Ambassadors that were sold that way by the dealership! Factory A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes all options also making it rare, vinyl top is excellent shape (see close up pics of small rust spots forming underneath top in isolated area) . There are a couple small cracks and chips in the paint again in insolated areas, it has been repainted and looks good, it is definitely worthy of a 99 point restoration but is perfectly suitable with cruising and enjoying. A few pumps on the gas pedal and run your hand by the key; this baby starts with ease and runs smooth. This Ambassador is not perfect condition but in good to great condition and is the perfect cruiser! This is defiantly a cool car and you really feel like an ambassador of some sort just driving and enjoying this car (check out the factory throw pillows)! If you are an American Motors guy than this is a must have! I paid $8600 and my reserve is far less that! I feel that this car is was worth every bit that amount I paid and I have 6 other AMC's so I feel I have a decent grasp on what the values are of these cars!
