Original Owner. Purchased new in 1982. It is the last MG B sold in the United States according to a letter received from the British receiver of BL, Ltd. In 1982. Unfortunately, that all-important paper has been lost so no verification can be given. However I do remember seeing it, it was addressed to our company (since sold) Oneida-Madison Pennysaver, Inc. When that company was sold I transferred the title to my own name. Mom bought it for Dad for their anniversary from Tenney Pontiac Cadillac GMC in Charlottesville, VA (Uncle Harry's dealership) and it was used extensively on weekends in the summer to go MGing. It has just over 25,000 original miles. A new off-body $7,000 paint job was finished in 2009 and a new top was added. Other than that it is totally original. Everything works except the temperature gauge and the radio. The exterior is like new. The interior needs some new carpets but is otherwise in very good condition. The four speed with Electronic Overdrive transmission works well, but 2nd gear is notched, so one must downshift at lower rpm’s to avoid grinding in 2nd.
