HI, We have up for auction is a 1988 FORD MUSTANG GT 5.0 FOX BODY. I am selling this Mustang for my Adult Son. he bought the car in 2004. Since the time of purchase He has put over $10,000 in this Mustang, The Engine was rebuilt in 2008 (less then 10,000 miles on rebuild) by a Certified Engine Builder, some of the parts used on rebuild are: New: Hypertectic pistons New: GT40p Heads New: Valves New: Rods New: Trick Flow Upper and Lower Intake New: Ford Motorsport Type E Cam New: BBK Cold Air Intake New: 75mm Throttle Body New: Mass Air Kit New: Water Pump New: Oil Pump New Shorty Headers In 2009: New: Transmission Gears New: King Cobra Clutch Pressure Plate and Through out Bearing New: Clutch Cable New BBK Lowering Springs Other Miscellaneous Add ons: Pro 5.0 Short- Throw Shifter 410 Richmond Rear end gears 4 Chamber Flow Master Mufflers True Dual Exhaust Autometer Tach with shift light Professionally tinted windows CD Player 500 Watt Stereo with Capacitor 2 10" Orion Sub-woofers in a Bandpass Box ***this is not a complete list many other items were needed and used in the rebuild, this is just a general list. This Mustang is a Strong runner and very quick, mechanically very sound, His next step was to be the exterior, but priority's change and that is why this fine running Stang is up for auction. the exterior is in solid shape no rust, no mud, but please take note this car is 22 years old with the Original single stage enamel paint. and as such has various chips and dings, and never shined like today's multi-stage lacquer paint, but over all real nice, see Pictures we tried to show flaws. the Interior is also original but again in real good shape for the year. not abused. This GT will make some one a fine project car to finish, or to have fun on track day as is ( ready to run).
