You are bidding on a beautiful 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix. The car is in beautiful condition with many dollars spent on restoring the car back to its original beauty. The car looks, runs, and drives excellent. The engine is a 389, 4 Barrel, with a turbo 400 automatc transmission. The engine is very powerful and has had many upgrades for better performance and efficiency. All gauges work, including the clock !!!!!! Many systems were gone through and either replaced, upgraded, or restored, including, a/c, steering and suspension, body, interior, etc. The performance, ride, and handling is very nice !!! A Complete engine compartment restoration was recently finished. the engine compartment is totally detailed to showroom condition and then some !!!! Engine Upgrades: - Edelbrock 600 CFM carburetor with electric choke - Heddman headers - Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold. - New water pump - New GM HEI ignition system, with new spark plugs and wires - New battery within the last year - Electric fuel ump - New dual exhaust front to back - New A/C compressor, hoses, evaporator pressure-tested, expansion valve, etc. converted to R-134A !!! A/C box was removed, disassembled, cleaned, painted, and re-sealed to new condition. New blower motor, heater core, etc. Steering / Suspension Upgrades: - Completely rebuilt steering box with late model IROC guts and upgrade, 2.9 lock-to-lock - Completely rebuilt front end, all new bushings, shocks, ALL components, stripped to bare metal, cleaned, and repainted - NEW heavy-duty front sway bar - NEW shocks all around - NEW front brakes - NEW rear brakes (Still in Box) - New tires, 2 tires less than 100 miles !!! - Original GM 8 Lug wheels Body: - Body completely stripped to bare metal, door jambs and all - Little to no rust on body !!! - Perfect floors and frame !!! - Minor pinholes in trunk floor, waiting on the reproduction trunk floors to come out !!! - Dupont basecoat/clearcoat – Color: GM 026K Green - Many NEW trim pieces, to include door handles, window trim, etc. - ALL new weatherstrip - All chrome and stainless is in excellent condition !!!! - Fender skirts included, stripped to bare metal, ready to be painted Interior: - All new seat covers, foam, cushions, etc. - New door panels - NEW headliner and package tray - New woodgrain kit on console and dash , with the past two years, fair quality - Original GM tachometer installed, works intermittently, needs calibrated for HEI - PERFECT dash pad, no holes cut in dash !!! - Hidden AM/FM CD player in glove box - Heat and A/C work, although the on/off is controlled by a toggle, but blend and hot/cold work properly - Working reel-out trunk light !!!! - Power antenna works Winning bidder will also get all spare parts that go with the car, including a floor shift tilt steering column, fender skirts, chrome trim moldings, etc. This car needs the finishing touches to be perfect, and I don’t have the time to finish.
