Vehicle Detail

The car didn't meet reserve, so I've relisted with a starting bid lower than my previous reserve, and this auction is no reserve I like this car a ton, one of my favorites, but something else is on it's way, so I'd like it gone It's been a California car all it's life, it's only spent a couple months in Texas. I shipped it here, purchased from Jacin Ferrera (well known Type3 figure out of San Jose). It has some light surface rust in a few spots, only cancer is below the battery. Gerson started making floors for type 3's, that will be available in a few weeks. Previously you could not get new type3 floors. There a little bubbling on the driver side door. No rust anywhere else, not the kick panel area, the fenders above the headlights, behind the tires, nothing. The paint isn't perfect, has some scratches and chips, but shines good. Definitely good enough to drive it around. Everywhere I go, I get lots of thumbs ups and people asking me about it 1600 dual port runs well. It leaks oil from the filler, maybe some other spots. It runs well so I haven;t messed with it. 34 ICT's. 009 with a compufire, Fresh tune up. I drive it downtown Houston all the time. It does need new air cleaners Clean Blue title, in hand. Registered as an antique, with correct plates and tag. It's currently registered and insured and tagged as an antique. It is 100% legal to Drive and I do so weekly (in fair weather) It's slammed on OG 4 lug sprint stars, 15x4.5 all the way around. Brand new smart car 145/65/15's up front, brand new 165's in the back. New as in less than 100 miles on all 4 Brakes work, steering works, all the required lights work. Shifts nice. The revers lights are not hooked up, the speedometer and gas gauge lights are not working. The gas gauge and speedometer do work The horn works. The interior light works. The clock works (this is no small feat. I've had many type 3's and never had a clock that worked) The dash is original, and mint. no cracks. None. If you know type 3's, you know this is a big (expensive $$$) deal. the front seats need re-covered. I have some earlier lowbacks I'll throw in too, to sweeten the deal. They will need to be recovered. Back seat is nice, headliner is original and is ok for a driver. door panels are ok for a driver. Has a really nice and correct rear mat for the cargo area. Again, the Dash is the expensive piece, and it's perfect. All the glass is present, the glass rubber will need replaced but works for a driver. they do leak in heavy rain It's too low for most people. I like it, but most people will want it raised up in the back. it takes about an hour to raise it When I bought it, the key was broken off in the ignition. I have a new ignition and Key, which will be included, and most likely will be installed in the next few days. it does start/run/drive now I have some spare chromies, 145's, and 165's, headlight grill guards, the lowbacks, some rare type 3 mudflaps, maybe some other stuff I'm forgetting. I will include these extra parts. I have set my reserve fairly. Please do not contact me in regards to my reserve. The roofrack shown in the pics is not included in this listing. It is an Item I would like to keep, but the winning bidder may contact me if he/she wishes to purchase it, in addition to the winning bid. It's not cheap I will Deliver the car to Austin/San Antonio as well as within the Houston area for 50 cents a mile. Any other shipping is purely your responsibility, but I have no problem working with your shipper. I can recommend a good shipper from Houston to Phoenix, Los Angeles, or Bay Area CA.
