This is an auction listing for a 2006 Z06 LeMans Blue. This Z06 is owned by a 50+ yr old man who purchased this vehicle with about 600 miles on it. The car very rarely sees any action, and for the most part does its best collecting dust in his garage. This vehicle is equipped with the heads up display, polished wheels, and grey bolsters on the seats. There are very few scratches with a small imperfection on the back bumper from lightly backing another vehicle into the Z06. It has the 2LZ package. There has been ZERO body work performed to this vehicle. The car is running on a new set of tires on all four corners, and recently had its fluids replaced (oil, and gear) with Royal Purple fluids. On Jul-01-10 at 10:41:28 PDT, seller added the following information: EDIT: 11.26am on 7/1/10 Official productions numbers for the 2006 Z06, color LeMans Blue, 671 produced. Total Corvettes Produced in 2006 was 34,021. Total Z06s produced in 2006 were 6,272. Also, the 2006 C6 Z06 has been speculated as to being the fastest of all C6 Z06's in part for two reasons: 1) they are the lightest because of reduced sound deadening, 2) traction control and ECU tuning are set far more aggressive that newer models. Read the forums, and you will find half of the people admit to this as being truth: that the 2006 is the lightest, fastest C6 Z06, and the other half (generally those not owning a 2006) will dispute that claim. Surprisingly, however, the majority of the fastest publicly known Z06s happen to be model year 2006s. (Bone stock, except intake/exhaust or other "simple" bolt on, and slicks seem to produce an average 1/4 time nearing, or breaking, the 10sec barrier.)
