Vehicle Detail
'65 Ford Mustang Fastback I do not have the title, but I have a current Georgia registration. If you need a title DO NOT bid on this car! I have owned this car for approximately 13 years. For the past 12 years it has been partially disassembled and in storage. I lost my storage space, so it must go. All floor pans are original with very minor surface rust. Subframe, torque boxes are in good condition as well. Body is in good shape except for minor damage on front right headlight area (see photo). All interior plastic, fiberglass and metal trim are in good condition, no cracks or holes drilled. Stainless steel trim is all there and in good condition. At some point someone installed subframe connectors, they are cut thru the back floor pans, they are welded in so no leaks (see photo). Car has Weld drag lite wheels (14x7). When I purchased the car it had been wrecked in the left rear quarter with a bad repair job. I had this redone with a patch panel. Sheet metal that has been replaced: lower rear quarter panel, trunk drop off panel, hood, rear valence, trunk floor pan.The car was painted about 10 years ago. It looks decent. There are small rust spots in both doors at the usual places (see photos). The front windshield and the rear glass are missing, all other glass is in good condition Drive train was rebuilt before I bought the car, so the following is what I know and was told by the previous owner: 302 bored .030 over Roller cam, roller rockers (don't know specs) Trick flow aluminum heads Victor Jr. intake Holley 650 double pumper carburator MSD distributor MSD ignition box Don't know much about the bottom end of engine Transmission: C-4 3200 RPM stall converter Shift kit Rear End: Ford 9" locker with 3.70 gears The car ran extremely strong 12 years ago. New parts I have that go with the car are mostly reproduction parts from Mustangs Unlimited purchased in 2000. They have all been in storage.
