New Vehicle warranty *bumper to bumber style* 4yrs/50k miles Powertrain warranty 5yr/60Kmi Federal emmissions warranty 8yr/80k mi Rust due to manufacturer 12yr/unlimited I bought this car new and do not drive much hence the low mileage of 16,100 (as of today 7-10-2010 16,125 miles) I'm pricing this under the appraisal price at edmunds.com and under blue book price for individual seller. It is number 914 of 1200 (number stamped on steering wheel center face) of this limited edition and a Turbo charged 4cyclinder. The seats are a very dark grey/black-ish leather. The interior has orange accents that match the cars exterior. *on dash, steering wheel, and doors* I had the dealership tint the windows and chrome the VW wheels. It has a sunroof, a sirius satellite radio capable radio and 6 spot CD player. Some features can be operated thru buttons on the steering column. These special editions all came pretty much loaded. sunroof, leather, sirius cd/radio, cruise control, power windows, steering, airbags all around, 2.0T engine, heated seats. I added the Chrome wheels, vw monster mats *nicer rubber floor mats*, tire stems have GTI labeled caps, I bought a very nice sleek, chrome heavy, license plate frame *here in texas tags much be in front and back*, and the orange little plastic creature VW sent to all buyers is sitting on the dash board. *they call it a 'FAST" and was part of their advertising scheme in commercials. It isn't attached of course, only posing, reminding you the car is fast! It has a beautiful quick start. *I always drive in in paddle shifter mode* You can drive it as an automatic with no fussing OR you can use it in this fancy shifting mode that downshifts for you automatically but lets you control the speed more on the upshift. ie-tiptronic. I've seen this type of shifting system on BMW. * or something very similar* One great thing is the seats are heated. When you turn them on they heat up with in, like, a minute. It has a rear defroster and back window wiper if you want to turn it on. Cruise control too. The back seat can be put down flat in one solid unit or divided with only one side down. * the rear carry area.. where the hatchback is* As it is a 3 yr old car there are a couple of almost indiscernible dings which I'll post in picture. driver side door. I've taken care and had the 2 service appointments by the dealership on schedule @ 10k and a little over 15k mile mark. Last inspected on May 21st 2010 *last month* and has tag and inspection stickers current. I still owe approx $4,000 toward payoff to VW credit. I am selling to free up some cash to buy some new equipment for my business. A little sad but a necessary sacrifice. This is probably the best car I've ever owned and my 2nd VW. It is an attention and compliment magnet. It will be missed. I'll expect a $300 hold payment thru paypal once auction or buy immediately option has been completed.
