This vehicle was seized by our Police Department following an arrest and is being sold in as-is condition. Mileage is 9,908. Vehicle was privately owned, so we are not able to certify its condition. We have not driven this vehicle for any distance or length of time that would enable us to comment on its reliability. Do not assume anything not listed is included. No guarantees are implied or given on current or future mechanical problems or vehicle condition.

This vehicle has been stored in our exterior impound lot for several months. The vehicle is a 1998 Suzuki Bandit GFS 600. It is blue in color. The vehicle does not run at this time, however it was running when the vehicle was seized. There is extensive damage to the bike. It is missing one rear view mirror and one rear passenger footpeg. The front brake handle is bent. The windshield has been spray painted blue. There is a dent on the gas tank and also some slight rust on the bottom. The front exterior is missing a large piece and is also cracked in several areas. The exterior under the seat is cracked, but has been “repaired” with a metal band. The tires are starting to show signs of dry rot. There is an aftermarket Yoshimura exhaust and it is equipped with an electric starter.

Terms and Conditions

Winning bidder must contact seller within 2 calendar days from close of auction to arrange an appointment for payment and pickup. An appointment is required for pickup, as times of availability will vary. If no contact is made by the winning bidder within 5 calendar days, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or dispose of it at our discretion. The registered eBay winning bidder is required to be present upon vehicle pick up, unless prior arrangement is made with the seller. Winning bidder is also required to have proper proof of insurance on the vehicle, in accordance with Illinois laws, before we will allow the vehicle to be driven away. If you choose to trailer the vehicle to your destination, insurance is not required. Final payment and pickup are due no later than 7 days from close of auction, but is flexible upon agreement. Payment will be as follows; cash only for this particular vehicle. A bill of sale will require a signature upon delivery and it will read as follows: Seller certifies to the best of the seller’s knowledge that the odometer reading listed in the vehicle description above reflects the actual mileage of the vehicle. The vehicle’s odometer was not altered, set back, or disconnected while in the seller’s possession, and the seller has no knowledge of anyone doing so. Seller warrants to buyer that seller has good and marketable title to said property, full authority to sell and transfer said property, and that said property is sold free of all liens, encumbrances, liabilities, and adverse claims of every nature and description whatsoever. Seller has no knowledge of any hidden defects in and to the vehicle, and believes to the best of the seller’s knowledge that the vehicle is being sold in “as is” condition, operational or otherwise. Seller makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Said vehicle is otherwise sold in “as is” condition and where currently located.

No credit cards or personal checks will be accepted. Buyer is responsible for any pickup or shipping arrangements for this vehicle. Seller does not provide transportation service for buyers. If the vehicle is not picked-up within the 7 days or the agreed upon time frame, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or dispose of it at our discretion.
