FOR SALE: 1967 FIREBIRD 400 I'm moving, and it's time to sell my baby. Here's my 1967 Firebird 400 (non-matching) 4 speed Hurst, 4 point roll bar, Traction Bars, Black Vinyl Top, Fiberglass hood, Sony CD, Kenwood 6x9's, Centerline rims, New BF Goodrich rubber. Perfect project car and strong enough to be a daily driver, ready to be taken to the next level (lots of extra parts) Only 3 owners for the past twenty years. The car looks and runs great, and I'm sad to see it go. She's a head turner everywhere we go, and wherever she ends up, I promise you people will be stopping and gawking – she's just that pretty. Hopefully, I can find a good home for the “Dirty Bird” Mechanically, the car is sound and runs strong. To be honest, what the car needs is a paint job that I can not afford and a few interior fixes to bring it up to that next “show quality” level The car has been my weekend warrior for awhile now. I bought it about eight years ago, and it's been garaged or covered ever since I've owned it. Engine & Transmission: 8/10 The engine runs strong. It has about 15K miles on the rebuild. It's not perfect, but as you can see it's still a great looking car. There are a few chips from overzealous car washers, but besides that it holds a great shine. The vinyl top is in great condition. A lot of people suggested I take it off, but I think it gives the car a great “old school” feel. There are a few chips below the rear bumper and by the door panels (see below) All in all, it's a great vehicle. It's not a showroom piece as much as a tear around town, wake up the neighbors, and have a great time car. It really is the perfect project car, because it needs so very little to take it up to that next level, and you can comfortably drive it in the meantime. I love it. You'll love it.
