I am relisting the car because there was a buyer from the U.K. Who hit the buy it now with the old familiar scam( I'm gonna send you payment with the shipping fees included , yaddi yaddi yadda !!! Blah blah blah.) So here it is again !!!!!!! Here is an 81 VW Rabbit Diesel L , 2 Dr, 1.6 litre -4cyl, Optional 5 spd manual trans, Rear wiper & washer, Factory stereo . This car has been off the road since 2007. Only has 114,510 miles !!! This car was towed behind a motorhome for some time. Has the tow bracket still under the front bumper. Runs great ! All the electrical / lights work as they should. This car is very solid , the only bad spot is as seen in the photos( the pass side front fender has a rot hole ). Probly from a CB antennae install that wasn't sealed ? The car comes with a brand new fender . It has the cloth seats , not vinyl. The interior is in excellent shape except the rear seat has about a 2-3"around hole in it. Heat & blower works great, Clock also , & even the cig. lighter still works. Also , has all the trim rings & hubcaps still. Tires are in great shape. Just replaced Fuel, Oil & Air filters , Oil , & Coolant. Car has a newer Radiator & Rebuilt Alt. I will Be replacing the front Calipers, Rotors & Pads this week . I already have the parts & it will be done before the end of the auction. Drives straight & tight . No wheel bearing noise either.
